This comes amidst a general lull in meme coin investments in the past few months. Despite the current downturn, Contessoto remains bullish on the future of meme coins. He has identified what he calls two distinct “meme coin universes” that he believes will spark renewed interest and excitement in the crypto industry by 2025. Surprisingly, Contessoto places PEPE at the top of his predictions, specifically highlighting the “PEPEVERSE.”
According to SlumDOGE Millionaire, Pepe on the Ethereum blockchain and BRETT on Base will become the most popular meme coins in 2025. According to Contessoto, these two meme coins will emerge as the most popular in the coming years, largely due to their ties to the rapidly expanding “PEPEVERSE.” This ecosystem encompasses a range of meme coins that revolve around PEPE, the green frog brand, like BRETT, ANDY, and WOLF.

In his detailed forecast, Contessoto explained that PEPE on Ethereum will initially capture the lion’s share of investments. The second major “meme coin universe” that Contessoto predicts will dominate in 2025 is none other than the Dogecoin universe. Known as the king of meme coins, Dogecoin is expected to reap the most benefits from a renewed wave of meme coin investments. This prediction is not surprising, given Dogecoin’s storied history and Contessoto’s own rise to fame for his massive profits during DOGE’s early bull run.
Contessoto predicted a huge comeback for Dogecoin and the entire “DOGEVERSE. Contessoto’s predictions don’t stop with Dogecoin. He also envisions significant price surges for other popular dog-themed meme coins like Shiba Inu and FLOKI, both of which have long been associated with Dogecoin’s success.
